In September, 1994, PMRS was incorporated by Mr. Ed Thompson as a privately held supplier of analytical and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical industry. Ed was joined shortly after by Dennis DiBiagio, Steve Schweibenz and Pat McNally, forming the core areas of Manufacturing Services, Analytical Services and Quality Management.

The first project undertaken was in December 1994 - a short term stability project visually inspecting parenteral vials. This was followed by a somewhat larger manufacturing project to develop a specific vitamin formulation. At this point, PMRS had six full-time employees.

In February, 1998, PMRS achieved ISO9001-1994 Certification. We then achieved ISO9001-2000 Certification in February, 2001.
In 2003, PMRS achieved ISO14001, and we were re-certified for ISO14001-2004 in 2005.
The PMRS EHS Committee was certified by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Labor & Industry.

Now, over 550 projects later, PMRS has over 50 full-time employees supporting the manufacture of four NDA approved commercial products, one internationally approved commercial product, and numerous developmental and investigational drugs.
